Anglais The Addams Family is a side-scrolling platformer based on the movie of the same name. The player takes the role of Gomez who searches for his missing family members. To find them he has to explore six different parts of the mansion, e.g. the woods, which are basic platform levels: the player moves from left to right while jumping a lot and avoiding enemies. Some of them can be dispatched of by a jump on their heads.

The main difference to the other versions of this game is a unique level design. There is also a life meter which allows to get hit more often before dying.

Français The Addams Family est un jeu de plates-formes sur Game Gear. L'histoire se situe vers la fin du film La Famille Addams alors que la famille est expulsée de son manoir par un avocat zélé. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, on apprend que Morticia, Pugsley, Mercredi et les autres ont disparu ! Vous incarnez donc Gomez, seul rescapé, qui partira à la recherche de sa famille et affrontera tous ses ennemis jusqu'au dernier : l'avocat !
Italien The Addams Family è un platform a scorrimento laterale basato sul film con lo stesso nome. Il giocatore assume il ruolo di Gomez che cerca i suoi familiari scomparsi. Per trovarli deve esplorare sei diverse parti della villa, ad es. i boschi, che sono livelli di piattaforma di base: il giocatore si muove da sinistra a destra saltando molto ed evitando i nemici. Alcuni di loro possono essere eliminati con un salto in testa.
La differenza principale rispetto alle altre versioni di questo gioco è un design dei livelli unico. C'è anche un misuratore di vita che permette di essere colpiti più spesso prima di morire.
