 English 		Challenger is played on a single-color board of 64 squares, 8 by 8, called an othellier. The players have 64 two-color pawns, black on one side and white on the other. The game ends when both players can no longer place a pawn. We then count the number of pawns. The player with the greatest number of pawns of his color on the board wins.

 French 		Challenger se joue sur un tablier unicolore de 64 cases, 8 sur 8, appelé othellier. Les joueurs disposent de 64 pions bicolores, noirs d'un côté et blancs de l'autre. Le jeu s'arrête quand les deux joueurs ne peuvent plus poser de pion. On compte alors le nombre de pions. Le joueur ayant le plus grand nombre de pions de sa couleur sur l'othellier a gagné.
