Allemand Die Geschichte beginnt mit dem Erzähler, einem lilanen Vogel Namens Simon. Dieser erklärt, dass die Schildkröte eine ruhige und stetige Person sei, wohingegen der Hase rastlos und immer auf dem Sprung ist. Eines Tages begegnen sich die Beiden zweimal, wobei sich der Hase beschwert, dass die Schildkröte niemals etwas macht und das er in der selben Zeit hunderte Dinge erledigen könne, die die Schildkröte braucht um einen Block zu gehen. Daraufhin fordert der Hase die Schildkröte zu einem Wettrennen heraus. Der Hase liegt so weit in Führung das er damit beginnt seine Zeit abseits zu verschwenden, so frisst er zunächst weil er hungrig geworden ist und schläft anschliessend ein. Während er schläft schleicht sich die Schildkröte an ihm vorbei. Kurz bevor die Schildkröte das Ziel erreicht wird der Hase wach und sprintet Richtung Ziel. Aber er schafft es nicht rechtzeitig und verliert das Rennen, dessen er sich so siegessicher war. Die Geschichte endet mit der Moral. Steter Tropfen höhlt den Stein.

Anglais The story starts off with the narrator, a purple bird named Simon, explaining how the Tortoise was a slow but steady person, while the Hare was busy and was always on the move. One day, when they meet up each other twice, the Hare complains that the Tortoise never does anything, and that he could do a hundred things in the time it takes him to go one block. Fed up with this, the Hare challenges the Tortoise to a race. The Hare ends up so far in the lead during the race that he starts wasting time elsewhere, choosing to eat after getting very hungry and sleeping after getting worn out. While he is sleeping, i Sure am he walked by very quietly shhh hes sleeping yeah he doesnt notice the Tortoise slipping by him. Just as he wakes up, he sees the Tortoise approaching the finish line, and sprints for his life to try to catch the Tortoise. Hes too late to the finish line, and loses the race he thought he was destined to win. The story ends on the moral slow but steady wins the race.

Français L'histoire commence avec le narrateur, un oiseau violet nommé Simon, qui explique comment la tortue était une personne lente mais stable, pendant que le lièvre était occupé et toujours en mouvement. Un jour, le Lièvre se plaint que la Tortue ne fait jamais rien, et qu'il pourrait faire une centaine de choses pendant ce temps là, à sa place. Fatigué de cela, le Lièvre défie la Tortue à une course. Le lièvre finit si loin en tête pendant la course qu'il commence à perdre son temps ailleurs, choisissant de manger après avoir eu très faim et de dormir après s'être épuisé. Pendant qu'il dort, je vais le rattraper, pensa la tortue. Alors qu'il se réveille, il voit la tortue s'approcher de la ligne d'arrivée, et sprinte pour sa vie afin d'essayer d'attraper la tortue. Mais il arrive trop tard à la ligne d'arrivée et perd la course qu'il croyait être sûr de gagner. L'histoire se termine sur la morale suivante : meux vaut être lent, mais constant.

Un giorno, quando si incontrano due volte, la Lepre si lamenta che la Tartaruga non fa mai niente e che potrebbe fare cento cose nel tempo che [lui] impiega per fare un isolato. Stufa di questo, la Lepre sfida la Tartaruga a una gara. La Lepre finisce così in testa durante la gara che inizia a perdere tempo altrove, scegliendo di mangiare dopo essere stata molto affamata e dormire dopo essersi stancata. Mentre sta dormendo, sono sicuro che è passato molto tranquillamente, sta dormendo, non si accorge che la tartaruga gli sta scivolando accanto. Proprio mentre si sveglia, vede la tartaruga avvicinarsi al traguardo e scatta per salvarsi la vita per cercare di catturare la tartaruga. Tuttavia è in ritardo per il traguardo e perde la gara che pensava fosse destinata a vincere. La storia si conclude sul morale lento ma costante vince la gara.
