Allemand Veröffentlicht in Japan und Europa für den Mega Drive. Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair ist ein ganz anderes Spiel als die meisten Spiele der Wonder Boy-Serie. Sie spielen einen grünhaarigen Kerl, der die Eindringlinge angreifen muss, die versuchen, Waffen einzusammeln und sie zur Zerstörung des Landes einzusetzen. Das Spiel beginnt wie ein einfaches Jump'n'Run-Spiel, aber gerade wenn Wonder Boy weiter in den Schädel eindringt, verwandelt sich das Spiel in ein Shoot'em Up, so dass das Gameplay im Wesentlichen aus Action- und Shooter-Szenen besteht.

Anglais Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair on Virtual Console is an action game in which you play as Adam or Laura and free the country from the grip of monsters through 14 levels. Each of them is divided into two parts: action where you have to move forward and get rid of enemies to open the door of the boss and shoot to kill the latter. A two-player mode is present to feature the two heroes on the screen.

Incarnez Adam ou Laura et libérez le pays de l'emprise des monstres à travers 14 niveaux. Chacun d'eux est divisé en deux parties : action où il faut avancer et se débarrasser des ennemis pour ouvrir la porte du boss et shoot pour tuer ce dernier. Un mode deux joueurs est présent pour faire figurer les deux héros à l'écran.
