Das Spiel von Sukeban Shachou Rena umfasst mehrere Minispiele, in denen der Spieler die Kontrolle über eine Katze oder - in anderen Minispielen - über Menschen übernimmt. Beispiele für Minispiele sind Klavierspielen, Vermeiden, dass andere Katzen einen anspringen, Geld von einer Katze nehmen, während sie nicht hinsieht, und Tanzen mit der Wii-Fernbedienung, um Rena zu besänftigen.

Anglais In the game, Rena is a cat who is the mascot of a blog named Nekopunch and the CEO of a fictional company named Cat Queen, Inc. It is the player s objective to appease Rena in order to get accepted into working for Rena.

Sukeban Shachou Rena s gameplay involves several minigames where the player takes control of a cat or in other minigames, humans. Minigame examples include playing the piano, avoiding other cats from jumping at you, taking money from a cat while it is not looking, and dancing using the Wii Remote to appease Rena.

Français Dans Sukeban Shachou Rena, le joueur incarne un tout nouvel employé de « Cat Queen Inc. ». Cette entreprise spécialisée dans le développement de jouets pour félins est dirigée par la très capricieuse et un brin sadique Rena, cette dernière étant… une chatte. Le but est de réussir divers mini-jeux afin de se faire bien voir de Rena ainsi que gagner sa confiance, et surtout passer de simple petit nouveau à membre à part entière de Cat Queen Inc.
Notre personnage sera également surveillé par le Let's Go Sanbiki, un trio de chats aux ordres de Rena : Cherry, Pro et Senshu. Deux autres employés (humains) épauleront le joueur : il y a tout d'abord Itou, d'apparence plutôt froide mais dont la grande faiblesse sont les coussinets sous les pattes des chats ; le second est Yamada, un grand admirateur de Rena aux tendances masochistes qui prend un grand plaisir à se faire griffer et frapper par cette dernière. Il est également jaloux de Tamaki, l'ancien petit ami de Rena… qui est un chat.
