Im Zuge früherer Animal Crossing-Spiele setzt Animal Crossing: New Leaf die Formel des freien und uneingeschränkten Spielens fort, die so erfolgreich war. Es gibt keine Ziele, keine Handlung, nicht einmal ein Ende; Stattdessen können Sie sich nach Belieben dem Leben in Ihrer neuen Stadt widmen. Und da die Zeit im Spiel im gleichen Tempo verläuft wie im echten Leben, bringt jeder Tag neue Erlebnisse mit sich!

Ihre ersten Schritte in Animal Crossing werden von einem glücklichen Ereignis geprägt: Kurz nach Ihrer Ankunft in der Stadt werden Sie durch eine Verwirrung der Rathaussekretärin Canela zum Bürgermeister ernannt! Sie können weiterhin tun und lassen, was Sie wollen, aber Ihre neuen Befugnisse als Bürgermeister ermöglichen es Ihnen darüber hinaus, die Stadt nach Ihren Wünschen zu gestalten. Von der Erstellung kommunaler Projekte zum Bau von Gebäuden, Brücken und allen Arten von Stadtmobiliar bis hin zur Genehmigung von Verordnungen, die den Betrieb Ihrer Stadt regeln. Es steht Ihnen frei, die Stadt Ihrer Träume zu erschaffen!

Anglais Continuing the much-loved freeform gameplay from previous Animal Crossing titles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game without any restrictions. There are no goals, no story, not even an ending – instead, you can enjoy life in your new town in any way you choose. And since time in the game moves at the same pace as in the real world, every day brings new experiences!

Your first steps in Animal Crossing: New Leaf come about by accident: shortly after arriving in town, a mix-up by Isabelle the town clerk sees you become the mayor! Although you can still do whatever you please, your new powers as mayor allow you to shape the town in any way you wish. From creating public works projects that add buildings, bridges and all kinds of decorative items to laying down ordinances (a fancy word for laws) that dictate how your town runs. You've now got the freedom to make the town of your dreams!

Français Reprenant le gameplay libre et très apprécié des précédents titres Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing: New Leaf est un jeu sans aucune restriction. Pas d'objectifs, pas de scénario, pas même une fin : vous pouvez profiter de votre vie dans votre nouvelle ville comme bon vous semble. Et comme le temps dans le jeu passe au même rythme que dans le monde réel, chaque jour apporte son lot de nouvelles expériences !

Votre aventure dans Animal Crossing: New Leaf commence par hasard : peu après votre arrivée en ville, une erreur de la part de Marie, la secrétaire de mairie, fait de vous le maire ! Vous pouvez toujours faire ce qu'il vous plaît, mais votre nouvelle fonction de maire vous permet de dessiner la ville à votre guise. Créez des projets de travaux publics pour ajouter des bâtiments, des ponts et toutes sortes d'éléments décoratifs, prenez des arrêtés (c'est-à-dire des lois) pour déterminer le fonctionnement de votre ville... Vous êtes libre de créer la ville de vos rêves !

Portugais No novo jogo da aclamada série de “Animal Crossing”, Animal Crossing: New Leaf traz um leque novo de opções, incluindo a dadiva de ser o prefeito da vila assim aumentando o desempenho da mesma, além de poder instalar itens de decorações para personalizar o lugar com a cara de cada jogador que estiver no controle desse pequeno vilarejo.

Assim como nos jogos anteriores da franquia o jogador assume o papel de um aldeão que acabou de chegar na cidade, porém o personagem é confundido com o próprio prefeito da cidade e então é designado a ele essa posição de poder. Como o prefeito da cidade os jogadores devem participar de diversas atividades como pesca e capturas de objetos para aumentar sua reputação e conseguir mais item para criação.
