Allemand „Guardian II: Revenge of the Mutants“ ist ein rasanter Sci-Fi-Shooter, in dem du in deinem Mk.II-Kampfjet die Erde vor einer neuen Mutanteninvasion beschützen musst. Die feindlichen Raider entführen Erdlinge und verwandeln sie in Mutanten, sobald sie den oberen Bildschirmrand erreichen – gelingt es dir nicht, sie rechtzeitig zu stoppen, ist das Spiel vorbei. Schießt du ein Raumschiff mit einem gefangenen Erdling ab, fällt dieser zu Boden – du musst ihn auffangen und sicher zurückbringen. Neben den Raidern machen dir weitere Aliengegner wie Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber und Lure das Leben schwer. Zur Unterstützung stehen dir ein Langstreckenscanner, eine Smartbombe, ein Energieumhang, ein Hive-Indikator und der Hyperfate-Antrieb zur Verfügung.

Anglais “Guardian II: Revenge of the Mutants” is a fast-paced sci-fi shooter where you pilot your Mk.II Fighter to protect Earth from a renewed mutant invasion. Enemy Raiders fly across the screen, abducting Earthlings and turning them into Mutants if they reach the top – once all Earthlings are gone, it's game over. If you shoot down a Raider carrying a captive, the Earthling drops, and you must catch and return them safely. Other alien threats include Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber, and Lure. To aid your mission, you have access to a long-range scanner, smart bomb, energy cloak, Hive convergence indicator, and hyperfate drive.

Los enemigos Raiders cruzan la pantalla secuestrando terrícolas; si los llevan hasta la parte superior, estos se convierten en mutantes —y al desaparecer todos, se acaba la partida. Si derribas a un Raider con un cautivo, este cae en paracaídas y debes recogerlo y devolverlo a salvo. Otros enemigos incluyen Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber y Lure. Para ayudarte, dispones de escáner de largo alcance, bomba inteligente, capa de energía, indicador de convergencia Hive y propulsor hyperfate.

Français Les mutants sont de retour et cette fois, ils sont plus rapides. À bord de ton chasseur Mk.II, tu dois empêcher les Raiders de voler à travers la planète, de ramasser des Terriens et de les transformer en mutants lorsqu'ils atteignent le haut de l'écran. Lorsque tous les Terriens ont disparu, la partie est terminée.

Si vous tirez sur un Raider qui tient un Terrien, il le laissera tomber. Vous devez attraper le Terrien et le replacer à la surface. Les autres aliens à craindre sont Hive, Dynamo, Technofighter, Firebomber et Lure.

Pour vous aider dans votre combat, vous disposez d'un scanner longue portée, d'une bombe intelligente, d'une cape énergétique, d'un indicateur de convergence Hive et d'une fonction hyperfate.

Guardian II est un jeu de tir à défilement horizontal latéral à 1 ou 2 joueurs, de type Defender, dans lequel vous pouvez aller à gauche ou à droite. En plus de l'aire de jeu principale, vous pouvez également voir votre radar, votre score et vos vies.
