Allemand Johnny Reb ist ein rundenbasiertes Strategiespiel für einen oder zwei Spieler, das auf dem amerikanischen Bürgerkrieg basiert. Spieler können eine Armee entweder der Union oder der Konföderation kontrollieren.

Es gibt drei Arten von Einheiten: Infanterie, Kavallerie und Artillerie, und Sie können entscheiden, aus wie vielen Einheiten jeder Art die Armee des Spielers bestehen soll. Nach der Ersteinrichtung wird das Schlachtfeld generiert. Ziel ist es, die Flagge des Feindes zu erobern, es ist aber auch möglich, einen Sieg nach Punkten zu erringen. Die Steuerung der Armee erfolgt über die Tastatur – Einheiten können sich in acht Richtungen bewegen. Artillerie kann über Distanz schießen, die anderen Einheitentypen können direkt angreifen, indem sie sich einfach auf ein angrenzendes Feld bewegen.

Anglais Johnny Reb is a turn-based strategy game for one or two players, based on the American Civil War. Players can control an army of either the Union or the Confederation.

There are three types of units: infantry, cavalry and artillery, and it's possible to decide how many of each type the player's army should consist of. After the initial set-up, the battlefield is generated. The goal is to capture the enemy's flag, but it's also possible to achieve a victory by points. Army control is handled with the keyboard - units can move in eight directions. Artillery can shoot over distance, the other unit types can directly attack by simply moving to an adjacent square.

Français Johnny Reb est un jeu de stratégie au tour par tour pour un ou deux joueurs, basé sur la guerre civile américaine. Les joueurs peuvent contrôler une armée de l'Union ou de la Confédération.
