Anglais Fulfill the Belmont legacy against the forces of darkness.

In the peaceful country of Transylvania, there is a legend of an evil castle and its master, the Prince of Darkness, Dracula. Once every hundred years, the powers of good mysteriously weaken, and evil attempts to resurrect Dracula. It's up to the Belmont clan to take up the eternal fight against the vampire. Players take on the role of Simon Belmont, armed with the legendary whip, Vampire Killer, to defeat Dracula and his evil minions. Luckily, Simon has many additional weapons at his disposal, including axes, holy water, crosses, knives and even a magical stopwatch that can stop the flow of time for a spell. Simon must travel through 11 stages, beginning in the countryside, to reach Dracula's Castle, all the while overcoming perilous traps and hideous monsters. Only the power of the Belmonts can quell the looming darkness

Vous contrôlez Simon Belmont, armé de son fouet légendaire mais aussi de pieux, boomerangs et autres haches. Bien que l'ennemi principal soit le seigneur du Mal Dracula, les ennemis ne se limitent pas aux vampires mais à toutes sortes de créatures horribles comme les zombies et les squelettes.

Attraverserete quindi il castello del Conte attraverso molti livelli che sono tanto variegati (dal recinto esterno alla sala del tesoro passando per la sala da ballo) quanto ben costruiti e hanno un'atmosfera deliziosamente gotica. I capi saranno sparsi in tutti i livelli e si apprezza il fatto che non siano necessariamente posizionati alla fine dei livelli. Il bestiario è abbastanza completo e comprende tutta una serie di mostri del folklore medievale: gnomi, scheletri, doccioni... Come negli episodi precedenti, si possono abbattere candele contenenti vari bonus: armi secondarie , cuori , punti vita o anche potenziamenti della frusta.
