Allemand Lode Runner: The Legend Returns ist ein Eintrag in der Lode Runner-Serie. Es ist der erste von mehreren Titeln, die von Presage Software entwickelt wurden, andere sind Lode Runner Extra, Lode Runner On-Line und Lode Runner 2: The Mad Monks' Revenge und Lode Runner 2. Ursprünglich wurde es 1994 für DOS/Windows-PCs und Macintosh-Computer veröffentlicht. 1996 wurde es auf den Sega Saturn portiert und von Patra in Japan veröffentlicht.

Im Gegensatz zu früheren Fortsetzungen von Lode Runner (z. B. Championship Lode Runner) erweitert The Legend Returns die Grundformel des ersten Spiels, indem es eine Vielzahl neuer Werkzeuge wie Bohrer und Bomben sowie Teleporter hinzufügt. Anglais Lode Runner: The Legend Returns is an entry in the Lode Runner series. It is the first of several titles to be developed by Presage Software, others being Lode Runner Extra, Lode Runner On-Line: The Mad Monks' Revenge and Lode Runner 2. Initially released for DOS/Windows PCs and Macintosh computers in 1994, it was ported to the Sega Saturn in 1996 and published by Patra in Japan.

Unlike previous sequels to Lode Runner (such as Championship Lode Runner), The Legend Returns extends the basic formula of the first game by adding a variety of new tools such as drills and bombs, as well as teleporters. It retains the level editor, but also adds support for two players.

The Saturn version of Lode Runner: The Legend Retruns was not released outside of Japan.

Français Lode Runner : The Legend Returns est un jeu de action/réflexion sur Saturn. Le but consiste à récupérer un certain nombre de pièces d'or afin d'activer un SAS qui vous permettra de passer au niveau suivant. Ce n'est évidemment pas si facile car certaines des pièces sont cachées dans des niveaux inférieurs. Pour y accéder, le sol est constitué de pierres pouvant être détruites mais qui se reconstituent au bout d'un moment. Des monstres seront là pour vous empêcher de triompher.
Italien Lode Runner: The Legend Returns è un gioco d'azione / puzzle su Saturno. L'obiettivo è raccogliere un certo numero di monete d'oro per attivare un SAS che ti permetterà di passare al livello successivo. Ovviamente non è così facile in quanto alcune stanze sono nascoste nei livelli inferiori. Per accedervi, il terreno è costituito da pietre che possono essere distrutte ma che si ricostituiscono dopo un po'. I mostri saranno lì per impedirti di trionfare.
