Allemand Nach vielen gefährlichen Abenteuern macht sich der Prinz in PRINCE OF PERSIA - THE TWO THRONES schließlich auf den Heimweg nach Babylon und bringt seine neue Braut Kaileena, die Kaiserin der Zeit, mit. Ihre Hoffnungen auf eine friedliche und glückliche gemeinsame Zukunft werden jedoch enttäuscht, als sie in Persien ankommen und das Land vom Krieg verwüstet vorfinden. Kaileena wird prompt von dem bösen Wesir gefangen genommen und ermordet, und ihr Tod setzt den Sand der Zeit frei, aus dem der Wesir schreckliche neue Kräfte schöpft.

Erneut muss der Prinz von Persien in den Kampf ziehen, doch dieses Mal ist er stärker als je zuvor, dank seines neuen Alter Egos, dem Dunklen Prinzen, der durch den Kontakt des Prinzen mit dem Sand entstanden ist. Während er darum kämpft, sein Königreich aus den Händen eines Wahnsinnigen zurückzuerobern, muss er auch mit seinen eigenen inneren Dämonen kämpfen, denn der Dunkle Prinz droht, ihn völlig zu verschlingen.
