Anglais The series moved onto the 6th generation of gaming in August 2002, with the release of TOCA Race Driver (called DTM Race driver in Germany, Pro Race Driver in North America and V8 Supercars: Race Driver in Australia). The game took a new direction, reincluding the BTCC series that the previous game had been missing but most importantly, a plot (leading to the game being labelled as a "Car-PG") where the user took on the role of a fictional race driver called Ryan McKane, trying to make a name for himself in a multitude of car championships, all the while under the shadow of his more successful older brother and haunted by the death of his father on the racetrack (as witnessed by Ryan as a child).

Espagnol La serie pasó a la sexta generación de videojuegos en agosto de 2002, con el lanzamiento de TOCA Race Driver (llamado DTM Race Driver en Alemania, Pro Race Driver en Norteamérica y V8 Supercars: Race Driver en Australia). El juego tomó un nuevo rumbo, reincorporando la serie BTCC, que el juego anterior había perdido, pero, sobre todo, una trama (que llevó al juego a ser etiquetado como "Car-PG") donde el usuario asumía el papel de un piloto de carreras ficticio llamado Ryan McKane, que intentaba hacerse un nombre en numerosos campeonatos de coches, todo ello bajo la sombra de su hermano mayor, más exitoso, y atormentado por la muerte de su padre en el circuito (como Ryan presenció de niño).

Vous participez à 13 championnats internationaux répartis sur 38 circuits dont Magny Cous, Mexico, Silverstone et même Dijon. Vous avez le loisir de piloter une quarantaine de voitures au fil de votre carrière naissante.
