Anglais Knights of Valour 2 is a scrolling beat-em-up for up to four players set in the same fantasy Romance of the Three Kingdoms setting as its predecessor. Inspired by classics such as Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara, it features complex branching pathways and story scenes that allow players to make choices that affect the outcome of the rest of the game. Players will fight large waves of foes, but by using the game's complex fighting game-inspired combo system they're able to take out enemies in style. In addition to the standard game mode, players can unlock the more difficult "internet ranking mode" which rewards players at the end with a code to input at the official website in order to register their score in the online leaderboards.

The "Five Tiger Generals" are selectable at the start, returning from the previous game - Zhao Yun, Zhang Huang, Guan Yu, and Ma Chao. Four additional characters (Diao Chan, Pang Tong, Sun Quan and Zhuge Liang) can be unlocked using codes at the character select screen.

Espagnol Knights of Valour 2 es un beat-em-up de desplazamiento para hasta cuatro jugadores ambientado en el Romance de los Tres Reinos como su predecesor. Inspirado en clásicos como Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara, cuenta con complejos caminos que se ramifican y escenas de la historia que permiten a los jugadores tomar decisiones que afectan al resultado del resto del juego. Los jugadores lucharán contra grandes oleadas de enemigos, pero utilizando el complejo sistema de combos del juego, inspirado en los juegos de lucha, podrán acabar con ellos con estilo. Además del modo de juego estándar, los jugadores pueden desbloquear el "modo de clasificación por Internet", más difícil, que recompensa a los jugadores al final con un código que deben introducir en el sitio web oficial para registrar su puntuación en las tablas de clasificación en línea.
