Anglais Set in Ancient Rome, you start life as a poor slave in Herculaneum, which along with Pompeii was destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Versuvius. Eventually you travel to Rome and climb the social ladder, becoming a Captain in the army, a Senator and eventually Emperor of Rome. Four of the game's six levels are adventure style romps, while in the other two levels you control an army in an attempt to conquer an enemy of Rome. The game is made all the more interesting by the little details to be seen around the levels; from naked people running around the Baths, to buying slaves to fight in the Gladiatorial games. There are also RPG aspects to the game, especially in the way you have the freedom to choose how to deal with various problems.
Français Situé dans la Rome antique, vous commencez votre vie comme un pauvre esclave à Herculanum, qui, comme Pompéi, a été détruite par l'éruption du mont Versuvius. Par la suite, vous vous rendez à Rome et grimpez l'échelle sociale, devenant capitaine dans l'armée, sénateur et finalement empereur de Rome. Quatre des six niveaux du jeu sont des aventures, tandis que dans les deux autres niveaux, vous contrôlez une armée qui tente de conquérir un ennemi de Rome. Le jeu est rendu d'autant plus intéressant par les petits détails que l'on peut observer dans les niveaux, qu'il s'agisse de personnes nues courant dans les thermes ou d'esclaves achetés pour combattre dans les jeux de gladiateurs. Le jeu comporte également des aspects RPG, notamment dans la façon dont vous avez la liberté de choisir la manière de traiter les différents problèmes.
