Anglais It is August 1991, the USSR has only a few days left before its tremendous collapse and KGB officer Maksim Rukov has been moved, without explanation, to the newly formed Department P which investigates KGB corruption and roots out possible double-agents and traitors.

The game's interface and engine is based heavily on Cryo's previous game, Dune, using the same point-and-click system, and a pseudo first-person perspective. The game also allowed players to rewind to the beginning of chapters to correct mistakes they had made.

KGB was later re-released in an ''enhanced'' CD-ROM version featuring new video sections of actor Donald Sutherland as Rukov's father, giving hints and clues whenever needed. The game was also re-titled Conspiracy for this re-release.

Espagnol KGB es un videojuego lanzado en 1992 para los ordenadores Commodore Amiga y Compatible IBM PC. Ambientado en los últimos y decadentes días de la Unión Soviética, KGB es considerado un juego difícil, incluso para jugadores experimentados, teniendo en cuenta que depende de un reloj en tiempo real y en un sistema de respuestas correctas/incorrectas que puede terminar el juego inmediatamente o después de un evento que necesita ser desencadenado; asimismo, los jugadores pueden cometer errores que serán detectados horas después durante el juego. El motor del juego, los gráficos y el interfaz tienen abundantes similitues con los del videojuego Dune de Cryo.

KGB fue también lanzado en CD con el título Conspiracy, el cual incluía clips del padre de Rukov interpretado por Donald Sutherland dando consejos. En la versión CD, todas las referencias a "KGB" en el juego y el manual fueron cambiados por el título "Conspiracy".

Français Le jeu prend place en été 1991, dans les derniers jours de l'URSS.
Vous êtes le Capitaine Maksim Mikahilovich Rukov, après 3 ans de bons et loyaux services au sein du GRU (les renseignements soviétiques), vous êtes transféré au département P du KGB (département chargé de rechercher les traîtres et agents doubles au sein du bureau de contre-espionnage) après qu'un ancien agent devenu détective privé a été retrouvé assassiné. Évidemment, l'intrigue va se compliquer au fur et à mesure, et Rukov va découvrir un complot aux dangereuses ramifications politiques.
