Allemand Al Unser Jr. Turbo Racing ist ein sehr gutes F1-Spiel für das NES. Das Display ist schnell, was einen guten Eindruck von Geschwindigkeit vermittelt. Die Grafiken sind zwar einfach, aber gut gemacht und angenehm. Das beherrscht der Einsitzer auch bei manueller Gangschaltung gut. Dieses Spiel nutzt die Fähigkeiten des NES sehr gut aus.

Anglais Unlike its namesake, the IndyCar racer Al Unser Jr., this game depicts Formula 1 races. A season consists of sixteen races, each one consisting of unlimited practice, one qualifying lap and the real race (the starting position depends on the qualifying result). Of course the goal is to win the championship by having successful race results. Those results also change the amount of "set-up points", which represent the quality of the car, players can use before the next race. Besides the championship there is also a time trial mode available (with or without AI opponents).

While the game features manual gear switching, it tends more to an action oriented gameplay than a simulation: pit stops (needed when the car gets nearly destroyed after accidents) stop the time for every driver and players can use a limited amount of turbo boosts. Players can start their own racing team or play as Al Unser Jr., which results in always having the best car possible.

Français Al Unser Jr. Turbo Racing est un très bon jeu de F1 sur NES. L'affichage est rapide ce qui donne une bonne impression de vitesse. Les graphisme, bien que dépouillés, sont bien réussis et agréables. La monoplace ce contrôle bien même avec un passage de vitesse manuel. Ce jeu exploite très bien les capacité de la NES.

Italien A differenza del suo omonimo, il pilota IndyCar Al Unser Jr., questo gioco descrive le gare di Formula 1. Una stagione è composta da sedici gare, ciascuna composta da prove libere illimitate, un giro di qualificazione e la gara vera e propria (la posizione di partenza dipende dal risultato delle qualifiche). Ovviamente l'obiettivo è vincere il campionato ottenendo risultati di gara di successo. Questi risultati cambiano anche la quantità di "punti di preparazione", che rappresentano la qualità dell'auto, che i giocatori possono utilizzare prima della gara successiva. Oltre al campionato è disponibile anche una modalità a cronometro (con o senza avversari AI).

Portugais Ao contrário de seu homônimo, o piloto da IndyCar Al Unser Jr., este jogo retrata corridas de Fórmula 1. Uma temporada consiste em dezesseis corridas, cada uma consistindo em treinos ilimitados, uma volta de qualificação e a corrida real (a posição inicial depende do resultado da qualificação). Claro que o objetivo é ganhar o campeonato obtendo resultados de corrida bem-sucedidos. Esses resultados também alteram a quantidade de "pontos de configuração", que representam a qualidade do carro, que os jogadores podem usar antes da próxima corrida. Além do campeonato, há também um modo de contra-relógio disponível (com ou sem oponentes de IA).
