Allemand Challenger, einer der frühesten NES-Titel von Hudson Soft, ist ein Spiel im Arcade-Stil, das Side-Scrolling, Run-and-Jump-Action mit explorativem Overhead-Gameplay kombiniert. Das Spiel besteht aus zwei Teilen.
Im ersten Level (oder „Szene“) müssen Sie gegen die Uhr antreten, um an die Spitze eines Zuges zu gelangen, wo ein Bösewicht mit lila Gesicht Ihren Lebensgefährten (oder vielleicht auch nur eine anonyme Prinzessin) festhält. Ihnen steht ein zuverlässiges Wurfmesser zur Verfügung, mit dem Sie sich um Feinde kümmern können. Außerdem müssen Sie Hindernissen ausweichen und Lücken im Zug überspringen. Dieser Abschnitt stammt aus dem früheren Hudson-Spiel Stop the Express.
Szene 2 versetzt Sie in eine labyrinthartige Umgebung, in der Sie erneut gegen die Zeit kämpfen müssen. Dieses Mal müssen Sie sich jedoch durch die Gegend navigieren und nach den verschiedenen „Schlüsselwörtern“ suchen, die in verschiedenen Höhlen platziert sind. Sobald Sie alle Höhlen geräumt haben, ist der Weg zum letzten Versteck des Bosses frei.

Anglais One of Hudson Soft's earliest NES titles, Challenger is an arcade-style game that combines side scrolling, run 'n jump action with overhead, exploratory gameplay. The game consists of two parts.

The first level (or "scene") has you racing the clock to get to the front of a train, where a purple-faced villain is holding your significant other (or, perhaps just some anonymous princess). You have at your disposal a trusty throwing knife to take care of enemies. You will also have to dodge obstacles and jump gaps in the train. This section is taken from the earlier Hudson game, Stop the Express.

Scene 2 places you in an overhead, maze-like environment, where you once again have to fight the clock. This time though, you have to navigate your way through the area, in search of all the different "keywords", which are placed in different caves. Once you have cleared all the caves, the path will be open to the boss' final lair.

El juego consta de dos partes. El primer nivel (o "escena") te hace correr el reloj para llegar al frente de un tren, donde un villano de rostro morado sostiene a tu pareja (o, quizás, a una princesa anónima). Tienes a tu disposición un cuchillo de lanzar de confianza para cuidar a los enemigos. También deberás esquivar los obstáculos y saltar brechas en el tren. Esta sección está tomada del juego anterior de Hudson, Stop the Express. La escena 2 te ubica en un entorno elevado, parecido a un laberinto, donde una vez más tienes que luchar contra el reloj. Esta vez, sin embargo, tienes que navegar a través del área, en busca de todas las diferentes "palabras clave", que se colocan en diferentes cuevas. Una vez que hayas despejado todas las cuevas, el camino estará abierto a la guarida final del jefe.

nnIl primo livello (o "scena") ti vede correre il tempo per arrivare davanti a un treno, dove un cattivo dalla faccia viola tiene in braccio la tua dolce metà (o forse solo una principessa anonima). Hai a tua disposizione un fidato coltello da lancio per prenderti cura dei nemici. Dovrai anche schivare gli ostacoli e saltare gli spazi vuoti nel treno. Questa sezione è tratta dal precedente gioco di Hudson, Stop the Express.
nnLa scena 2 ti colloca in un ambiente sopraelevato, simile a un labirinto, dove devi ancora una volta combattere il tempo. Questa volta, però, devi navigare nell'area, alla ricerca di tutte le diverse "parole chiave", che sono poste in diverse grotte. Dopo aver ripulito tutte le caverne, il percorso sarà aperto per l'ultima tana del boss.

O primeiro nível (ou "cena") mostra você correndo contra o relógio para chegar à frente de um trem, onde um vilão de rosto roxo está segurando sua cara-metade (ou, talvez, apenas alguma princesa anônima). Você tem à sua disposição uma confiável faca de arremesso para cuidar dos inimigos. Você também terá que evitar obstáculos e pular brechas no trem. Esta seção foi retirada do jogo Hudson anterior, Stop the Express.
