Allemand Hammerlock Wrestling ist Jalecos Interpretation von Wrestling mit einem Stil, der sich an Saturday Night Slam Masters orientiert. Der Spieler kann aus 12 fiktiven Wrestlern wählen und in vier verschiedenen Spielmodi antreten. Außerdem gibt es 60 verschiedene Moves zur Auswahl sowie einzigartige Finisher für jeden Wrestler.

Im Exhibition-Modus können bis zu vier Spieler gegeneinander antreten, entweder im Einzelkampf oder im Tag-Team-Format. Champion League Match ist ein Rundenturnier mit sechs verschiedenen Wrestlern, die um die Liga-Meisterschaft kämpfen. Tournament ist das Standard-Turnierformat mit acht verschiedenen Wrestlern und Top Ranking Match, bei dem sich der Spieler durch die anderen elf Wrestler kämpfen und jeden einzelnen besiegen muss, um Champion zu werden. Das Spiel ist zeitweise in drei verschiedene Bildschirme unterteilt. Der mittlere Teil zeigt die aktuelle Action im Ring, während der obere und untere Teil des Bildschirms für Nahaufnahmen von Action-Sequenzen wie Power Moves, illegale Moves und Finishing-Moves verwendet werden.

Anglais Hammerlock Wrestling is Jaleco's take on wrestling with a style geared towards Saturday Night Slam Masters. The player can choose from 12 fictional wrestlers and compete in four different modes of play. There is also 60 different moves to choose from as well as unique finishers for each wrestler.

The Exhibition mode allows up to four different players to compete either against each other in singles match or in tag team format. Champion League Match is a round robin-type tournament with six different wrestlers competing for the league championship. Tournament is the standard tournament format with eight different wrestlers involved and Top Ranking Match where the player must battle through the other eleven wrestlers and defeat each one to become champion.

The game is divided into three different screens at times. The middle part shows the current action happening in the ring while the top and bottom parts of the screen are used for close-ups of action sequences such as power moves, illegal moves and finishing maneuvers.

Há também 60 movimentos diferentes para escolher, bem como finalizadores exclusivos para cada lutador.

O modo Exibição permite que até quatro jogadores diferentes compitam entre si em partidas individuais ou em formato de tag team. Champion League Match é um torneio do tipo round robin com seis lutadores diferentes competindo pelo campeonato da liga. Torneio é o formato de torneio padrão com oito lutadores diferentes envolvidos e uma partida de classificação superior onde o jogador deve lutar contra os outros onze lutadores e derrotar cada um para se tornar campeão.

O jogo às vezes é dividido em três telas diferentes. A parte central mostra a ação atual acontecendo no ringue, enquanto as partes superior e inferior da tela são usadas para close-ups de sequências de ação, como movimentos de poder, movimentos ilegais e manobras de finalização.
