Jeder Raum, den du erkundest, ist mit einer Zeitbombe ausgestattet. Die Bombe explodiert und nimmt dich mit, wenn du zu lange brauchst, um alle Hindernisse auf dem Bildschirm zu überwinden. Du beginnst das Spiel mit neun Schiffen, wobei weitere durch das Sammeln von genügend Punkten während des Spiels erworben werden können.

Anglais There are three asteroids, hidden among thousands, where various minerals and precious gems were stored. It was believed the riches would be safe there, until the Zoggians discovered them! Now you have to fly an experimental spacefighter, the Cybernoid, into battle to recover the asteroids. The Cybernoid is equipped with standard laser blasters, missiles, and the ability to pick up other weapons along the way.

Cybernoid is an arcade style action game for one player. You can choose from three different skill levels; easy, hard and lethal. On some versions two different sound modes are also available, a basic music and sound effects mode, and a super sound effects mode with no music. Each room you explore is equipped with a time bomb. The bomb will explode taking you with it should you take too long to get past all the obstacles on the screen. You start the game with nine ships, and more can be earned by collecting enough points during the game.

Los piratas han activado todos sus sistemas planetarios de defensa, evítalos y enfréntate a la tripulación de la nave pirata. Si no consigues llegar a los depósitos dentro del tiempo acordado, o si el valor de la carga recuperada es insuficiente, perderás una de tus naves Cybernoid.

Français Cybernoid est un shoot'em up à tableau fixe. Le vaisseau peut se déplacer dans toutes les directions mais est soumis à la gravité, ceci va obliger lors de certains passages à doser avec précision les déplacements. De base le vaisseau peut uniquement tirer devant lui et tirer des missiles en gardant le bouton de tir enfoncé. Attention cependant à ne pas gâcher ces derniers, certains éléments bloquant le passage ne peuvent être détruits qu'avec ces missiles. En manquer obligera le joueur à revenir en arrière jusqu'à trouver une salle où les ennemis arrivent à l'infini afin d'espérer pouvoir récupérer quelques missiles. Ces même ennemis pourront également laisser derrière eux une boule de protection qui tournera autour du vaisseau offrant une protection non négligeable, il est même possible d'en avoir deux.
