Allemand Silent Hill: Origins, in Japan bekannt als Silent Hill: Zero in Japan, ist der fünfte Teil der Silent Hill-Videospielserie. Es ist ein Prequel zum ursprünglichen Silent Hill, das 1999 veröffentlicht wurde. Es wurde von Climax Studios entwickelt und von Konami veröffentlicht. Es erschien erstmals im November 2007 für die PlayStation Portable und wurde im März 2008 auch für die PlayStation 2 veröffentlicht.

Origins spielt sieben Jahre vor den Ereignissen von Silent Hill und erweitert die Hintergrundgeschichte, auf der die Serie aufbaut.

Anglais Silent Hill: Origins, known as Silent Hill: Zero in Japan, is the fifth installment in the Silent Hill video game series. It is a prequel to the original Silent Hill that was released in 1999. It was developed by Climax Studios and published by Konami. It debuted on the PlayStation Portable in November 2007, with a port to the PlayStation 2 released in March 2008.

Set seven years prior to the events of Silent Hill, Origins expands the backstory on which the series built itself.
