Anglais Guitar Hero II, the follow-up to the PS2-only game Guitar Hero, expands upon the gameplay and features of the original game. As a wannabe rockstar, you need to play songs by pressing combinations of five fret buttons on a guitar-shaped controller, while working the strum bar, along with an optional whammy bar for distortion. The sequel contains 64 songs, of which 40 have been licensed. One of the tracks was discovered through a contest at beaguitarhero.com, where unlicensed bands could send in a demo to be included in the game. Most of the tracks have been covered in-studio, but a few use original recordings.

Espagnol Guitar Hero II es la secuela del mejor juego musical del año 2005, consiguiendo con ésta nueva versión que el rock llegue a su punto más alto. Encontraremos 3 nuevos personajes y novedosos atuendos con los que vestir a los protagonistas de la primera entrega, además de 10 nuevas salas de conciertos. Podremos disfrutar de hasta 60 temas nuevos y atemporales, con un actual modo multijugador gracias al cual guitarra rítmica, guitarra solista y bajo podrán tocar su propia melodía de forma independiente, permitiendo a los jugadores sentirse parte de una auténtica banda de rock. Al contrario que en Guitar Hero I, cuyo modo multijugador se basaba en la rivalidad, en ésta versión se pretende fomentar la naturaleza cooperativa, incluyendo diferentes modos de dificultad para cada jugador.
