Allemand Pikmin ist ein Action-Strategiespiel, das in einer unglaublich lebensechten Umgebung spielt. Der Spieler steuert einen Raumfahrer namens Captain Olimar, der auf einem ungewöhnlichen Planeten notlanden musste. Das Ziel des Spiels besteht darin, Olimar bei der Suche nach den verlorenen Teilen seines Raumschiffs zu helfen, die über den ganzen Planeten verstreut sind.Zum Glück für Captain Olimar wird der Planet von seltsamen kleinen Wesen bewohnt, den sogenannten Pikmin. Pikmin sind pflanzenartige Lebensformen, die in drei verschiedenen Farben vorkommen: Rot, Gelb und Blau. Jeder Pikmin-Typ hat ganz eigene Stärken, die Olimar zu seinem Vorteil nutzen muss. Rote Pikmin sind unempfindlich gegen Feuer, blaue Pikmin können im Wasser überleben, gelbe Pikmin dagegen können Hindernisse mit Bomben-Steinen zerstören. Der Spieler kann die Pikmin einzeln, in Gruppen oder als große Pikmin-Schar von 100 Wesen steuern.

Espagnol Directamente desde la mente creadora de Nintendo, Shigeru Miyamoto (el creador de Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong y más) llega Pikmin, un título con una nueva e ingeniosa forma de juego, perfecto para mostrar el impresionante potencial de Nintendo GameCube. Definido como una "simulación ingeniosa de la vida", Pikmin es un juego de acción y estrategia en el que aparecen los impresionantes entornos inspirados en el jardín del propio Miyamoto en Kyoto, Japón.

Los jugadores controlan a un astronauta llamado Capitán Olimar que ha chocado con su nave en un planeta poco común. El objetivo del juego consiste en ayudar a Olimar a reunir las piezas perdidas de su nave que han quedado esparcidas por todo el planeta. Por suerte para el Capitán Olimar, el planeta está habitado por extrañas criaturitas llamadas Pikmin.

Los Pikmin son formas de vida similares a las plantas, de tres colores: rojo, amarillo y azul. Cada tipo de Pikmin tiene un punto fuerte distinto que Olimar debe aprovechar. Los Pikmin rojos soportan el fuego, los azules pueden sobrevivir en el agua y los amarillos destruyen obstáculos con rocas-bomba. El jugador puede controlar a los brotes Pikmin de forma individual, en grupos o formando una figura grande Pikmin compuesta por 100 criaturas.

Le capitaine Olimar s'est écrasé sur une planète étrange et son vaisseau n'est pas en état pour décoller à nouveau. Il fait alors la connaissance d'étranges créatures multicolores qui naissent dans le sol. Ne rechignant pas à la tâche, Olimar prend le contrôle de ces dernières et part à la recherche des pièces éparpillées de son vaisseau.

Bloccato su un pianeta sconosciuto, il capitano Olimar deve chiedere l'aiuto di questi Pikmin nativi per ricostruire la sua astronave prima che il sistema di supporto vitale si esaurisca. Nel frattempo, dovrai respingere gli aggressori e risolvere vari enigmi. Per produrre Pikmin multicolori aggiuntivi devi sconfiggere i nemici e riportarli ai nidi dei Pikmin chiamati cipolle. Ma attenzione: guardare predatori giganti divorare il tuo Pikmin potrebbe farti arrabbiare più di quanto ti aspetteresti.
