Allemand Als das friedliche Königreich Mythgard kurz davor stand, von dem bösen Dämonenkönig Jardine dem Verrückten gestürzt zu werden, versammelten sich die Elementarmeister des Reiches zum Kampf. Sie kämpften gegen Jardine, bis nicht mehr als vier von ihnen übrig waren. Die vier vereinten ihre Kräfte und formten die Elementarklinge, mit der der Dämonenkönig erschlagen werden konnte. Zu dieser Zeit wurde der Juwelenmeister herbeigerufen, um die Klinge zu schwingen, doch die Klinge ist verloren gegangen und die Ringe der Elementarmeister wurden über ganz Mythgard verstreut, alle bis auf zwei. Der Juwelenmeister muss die anderen zehn Ringe der Elementarmeister sammeln und die Klinge zurückfordern, um schließlich gegen den Dämonenkönig anzutreten.

Anglais As the peaceful kingdom Mythgard came close to being overthrown by the evil demon king Jardine the Mad, the Elemental Masters of the realm gathered to do battle. They fought Jardine until there was no more than four remaining. The four combined their powers to form the Elemental Blade with which the demon king could be slain. At this time the Jewel Master was summoned to wield the blade, however the blade has been lost and the rings of the elemental masters have been scattered across Mythgard, all save two. The Jewel Master must gather the other ten rings of the Elemental Masters and reclaim the blade and ultimately do battle with the demon king.

The gameplay is based on fighting a lot of monsters in classic arcade platform kind of way. To do this you have at your disposal rings, two which you begin with and further more that you gain along the way. Each ring is of one of the four elements and by combining them you gain different effects. Rings of opposite elements cancel each other but you have to hands and two attack buttons so you can use say water on the one and fire on the other. The rings are also different in strength which further adds some complexity.

Français Jewel Master est un jeu d'action/plates-formes sur Megadrive. Vous incarnez le Jewel Master qui doit se mettre en quête des dix anneaux perdus qui l'aideront à vaincre Jardine le Fou. Les anneaux renferment tous les pouvoirs des éléments et en les combinant, il est possible de créer des attaques dévastatrices.
Italien Il regno di Mythgard sta per essere cancellato da Jardine, il Re Demone! Usate gli anelli magici speciali per distruggere Jardine e le sue strane creature. Ma fate in fretta, c'è poco tempo.

Portugais Enquanto o pacífico reino de Mythgard se aproxima de ser derrubado pelo rei demônio Jardine o Louco, os Mestres Elementais do reino se uniram em batalha. Eles combateram Jardine até que não houvesse mais que quatro deles. Os quatro restantes combinaram seus poderes para formar a Lâmina Elemental que poderá ser usada para derrotar o rei demônio. O Mestre das Jóias(Jewel Master) foi invocado para empunhar a lâmina, mas ela foi perdida e os anéis dos mestres elementais foram espalhados através de Mythgard, com exceção de dois. O Mestre das Jóias deve buscar os outros dez anéis dos Mestres Elementais e recuperar a lâmina para o confronto final com o rei demônio.

A jogabilidade é baseado em plataforma com luta contra vários monstros como em qualquer clássico de arcade. Para tal, você tem a disposição diversos anéis, dois dos quais você começa no jogo e os outros são obtidos no caminho. Cada anel é de um dos quatro elementos, e ao combiná-los novos efeitos são criados. Anéis de elementos opostos se cancelam, contudo você possui duas mãos para poder em uma delas ter efeitos de fogo e na outra de água(por exemplo). Os anéis também possuem níveis distintos de força, aumentando a complexidade das combinações.
