Bei diesem Spiel läuft der kleine Superklempner zur Höchstform auf. Im Mushroom Kingdom geht es nämlich drunter und drüber. Browsers 7 Kinder haben die magischen Zauberstäbe gestohlen und die Könige in Tiere verwandelt. Ganz klar. Jetzt kann nur noch einer helfen: Super Mario. Es gilt die Bowser-Truppen zu bekämpfen und die Zauberstäbe zurückzuerobern, um das ehemals friedliche Königreich zu retten. In 8 verschiedenen Themenwelten und über 80 Levels weiß nur Super Mario, wo es langgeht. Hierbei stehen ganz neue Moves zur Verfügung wie z.B. schwimmen, rutschen, fliegen in besonderen Outfits- und das Tollste:
Mario kann in diesem Abenteuer sogar sprechen. Für noch mehr Spielspaß sorgen die Super Power-Gegenstände. Es geht aber noch weiter, denn es gibt auch noch magische Items wie die Wolke, mit der Mario eine Actionwelt überspringen kann. Das macht auch gemeinsam Spaß - zwei Spielern in Super Mario Bros. und bis zu vier Spielern in Mario Brothers classics. Da möchte einfach jeder mitspielen.
