Allemand Chinhai ist ein Mahjong-Spiel. Ziel ist es, zwei identische Mahjong-Figuren zu kombinieren, damit sie verschwinden. Diese Variante wird als Shisen-Sho bezeichnet. Du kannst alleine auf einem großen Brett oder zu zweit spielen, entweder zusammen auf dem großen Brett, oder auf einem geteilten Bildschirm. Du kannst dem Gegner auch jedes Mal einen Malus schicken, wenn du bestimmte Kombinationen machst.

Anglais Chinhai is a puzzle game for the Super Famicom and a variant on Mahjong Solitaire, or Shanghai. Instead of pairing and removing any two tiles that match as long as one of their sides is clear, as is the case in Shanghai, the rules of Chinhai require that the two tiles can only be removed if it's possible to draw a line between the two that doesn't make a 90 degree turn more than twice. Two tiles on opposite sides of the board, for instance, can't be paired because it would take three 90 degree turns to draw a line between them. To account for this added difficulty, the game lacks the "stacks" of tiles that frequently appear in Shanghai, instead presenting a flat board of tiles.Chinhai is named for the municipality of Chinhai in China, maintaining the theme of naming mahjong solitaire variants after territories in China. Chinhai has long since been renamed Zhenhai, which is situated in the Ningpo Prefecture and now part of a much larger city. This mahjong solitaire variant is perhaps best known as Sichuan or Shisenshou, also named for a province in China.

Portugais Nomeado em homenagem ao distrito municipal de Zhenhai (então conhecido como "Chinhai") na China, Chinhai é baseado na variante "nikakudori" do mahjong solitaire, onde todas as peças são consideradas válidas para combinar, mas os jogadores só podem combinar as peças se um caminho de linhas retas (horizontais e verticais) podem ser feitas entre eles de modo que nenhuma linha toque qualquer outro ladrilho e o caminho deve formar menos de três ângulos retos. Ele apresenta apenas uma formação de ladrilho: uma grade de camada única 17x8.
Ele também possui um modo de dois jogadores, onde cada jogador deve correr para limpar sua própria grade 8x8 primeiro e os jogadores podem utilizar fichas de power-up para atacar os oponentes.
