Allemand Bashtars Hände haben Moho von seinem geliebten Toki weggerissen. Toki geht es nicht besser: Er wurde von dem Zauberer Vookimedlo in einen Affen verwandelt. Toki muss nun seine Liebe retten und einen Weg finden, sich wieder in einen Menschen zu verwandeln.
Toki umfasst mehrere Level: das Höhlenlabyrinth, den Neptunsee, die Feuerhöhlen, den Eispalast, den dunklen Dschungel, den goldenen Palast ... Tokis Hauptangriff auf seine Feinde besteht darin, sie anzuspucken, aber er kann auch auf sie springen, um sie zu besiegen. Tokis normale Spucke kann in einen Feueratem verwandelt werden, indem man den richtigen Gegenstand findet. Zu den weiteren Gegenständen gehören ein Fußballhelm, der Toki vorübergehend schützt, Hochsprungschuhe, Uhren, die Zeit hinzufügen, Münzen, die die Anzahl der Leben erhöhen, und Früchte, die die Gesamtpunktzahl erhöhen.

Anglais Toki features elements of tongue-in-cheek humor combined with the action. The player takes control of an enchanted ape who must battle hordes of jungle monsters with energy balls from his mouth (described humorously as "monkey-spit" or "monkey-vomit" by some gamers). The ultimate goal is to destroy the evil wizard who cast a spell on you; therefore transforming yourself from an ape back into a human, and rescuing the kidnapped princess. The game was ported to several video game consoles and home computers.

Espagnol Lanzado en el año 1989 como JuJu Densetsu en tierras niponas y como Toki por estos lares, fue criticado por su tremenda lentitud y falta de originalidad, pero fue un juego bien recibido por los jugadores quienes elevaron a la altura de clásico esta obra de TAD Corporation.
El juego de un hombre al que un mago llamado Vookimeldo rapta a su novia Miho y le convierte en mono para dificultar su rescate.

Français Si c'est pas malheureux ! Vous étiez tranquille avec votre petite amie puis tout à coup, un méchant arrive et l'enlève. Si ce n'était que ça, comme on dit, 1 de perdue 10 de retrouvées mais en plus, on vous transforme en singe cracheur de boules. Bizarre me direz-vous ? Hé bien, malgré une histoire loufoque, ce jeu de plates formes est une des légendes des jeux d'arcade. Quand on y a gouté, on ne peut plus s'en passer.

Toki ha diversi livelli: il labirinto di grotte, il lago di Nettuno, le grotte di fuoco, il palazzo di ghiaccio, la giungla oscura, il palazzo d'oro... L'attacco principale di Toki contro i suoi nemici è lo sputo, ma può anche saltargli addosso per sconfiggerli. Il normale sputo di Toki può essere trasformato in un'esplosione di fuoco trovando l'oggetto giusto. Altri oggetti includono un casco da calcio che protegge temporaneamente Toki, scarpe per il salto in alto, orologi che aggiungono tempo, monete che aumentano il numero di vite, ecc.

Portugais Toki, conhecido no Japão como JuJu Densetsu, é um jogo de arcade de plataformas de 1989, ou "run and gun", desenvolvido e publicado no Japão pela TAD Corporation e publicado na América do Norte pela Fabtek. Caracteriza elementos do humor explícito combinados com a ação. O jogador assume o controle de um macaco encantado que deve combater hordas de monstros da selva com bolas de energia de sua boca (descritas com humor como "cuspe de macaco" ou "vômito de macaco" por alguns jogadores). O objetivo final é destruir o mago maligno que lançou um feitiço em você; transformando-se de um macaco de volta em humano e resgatando a princesa sequestrada. O jogo foi portado para vários consoles de videogame e computadores domésticos.
