Allemand Begeben Sie sich in Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Violet Planet auf Gamecube auf ein interstellares Abenteuer. Gemeinsam mit Dora und Boots musst du Außerirdische auf ihren violetten Planeten zurückbringen. Im Laufe des Spiels erwarten Sie zahlreiche lehrreiche Minispiele, die den Geist und Humor der TV-Serie perfekt respektieren.

Anglais Dora and her trusty monkey companion Boots are star gazing when much to their surprise a space ship lands near them. Aliens from the purple planet hop out to say hello but at that very moment the ship falls apart - Dora takes it upon herself to help the aliens return home by collecting enough gems to power their spaceship for a return flight.

The player controls Dora while she searches for gems throughout the game. The gem collecting is broken up by basic button timing puzzles and interruptions from Swiper. After collecting enough gems the player blasts off into space to collect gems in a space minigame followed more planets and levels. The voice acting for Dora is done by the original voice actress Kathleen Herles.

Français Dora et son fidèle compagnon singe Boots sont en train d'observer les étoiles quand, à leur grande surprise, un vaisseau spatial atterrit près d'eux. Des extraterrestres venus de la planète violette en sortent pour leur dire bonjour, mais à ce moment précis, le vaisseau tombe en panne. Dora décide alors d'aider les extraterrestres à rentrer chez eux en collectant suffisamment de pierres précieuses pour alimenter leur vaisseau spatial et leur permettre de repartir.

Le joueur contrôle Dora pendant qu'elle cherche des gemmes tout au long du jeu. La collecte de gemmes est entrecoupée de puzzles basiques où il faut appuyer sur des boutons au bon moment et d'interruptions de Swiper. Après avoir rassemblé suffisamment de gemmes, le joueur s'envole dans l'espace pour collecter des gemmes dans un mini-jeu spatial, suivi d'autres planètes et niveaux. La voix de Dora est interprétée par la comédienne originale Kathleen Herles.

Dora e Boots stanno per intraprendere un'avventura come mai prima d'ora. Unisciti a loro mentre decollano nello spazio e viaggiano lontano nel grande sconosciuto. Hanno incontrato cinque nuovi amici che per caso sono creature spaziali perdute. Ora Dora e Boots intraprenderanno un viaggio intergalattico per cercare di aiutare questi amici perduti a ritrovare la strada di casa sul Pianeta Viola. Gioca attraverso sei luoghi planetari unici, tutti offrendo un'esperienza familiare di Dora e vai a caccia di oggetti perduti come tartarughe, i dieci piccoli alieni verdi e piccoli robot. Il gioco presenta meteore, tunnel, jet-pack e gemme spaziali collezionabili e una varietà di luoghi tra cui i Cosmic Canyons, la Dark Bubble Cavern, lo Space Satellite e il Glitter Maze.
