Allemand Othello ist die digitale Umsetzung des bekannten Brettspiels auf einem 8x8-Spielfeld. Beide Spieler starten mit je zwei Steinen in der Mitte, die diagonal zueinander liegen. Ziel ist es, am Ende mehr eigene Steine auf dem Brett zu haben als der Gegner. Indem du einen Stein so platzierst, dass eine Reihe gegnerischer Steine zwischen deinem neuen und einem bestehenden eigenen Stein eingeschlossen wird – sei es horizontal, vertikal oder diagonal – werden diese in deine Farbe umgedreht. Abwechselnd setzen beide Spieler ihre Steine, bis entweder das Feld voll ist oder keine weiteren Züge möglich sind. Strategie, Planung und ein gutes Auge entscheiden über den Sieg.

Anglais Othello is the digital version of the well-known board game played on an 8x8 grid. Both players begin with two pieces placed diagonally in the center. The goal is to have the majority of pieces in your color by the end of the game. To capture, you place a piece so that a line of your opponent's pieces is trapped between your new piece and another of your own, whether horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Those pieces are then flipped to your color. Players take turns until the board is full or no further moves can be made. Strategy, foresight, and sharp observation determine the winner.

Français Othello est la version numérique du célèbre jeu de plateau qui se joue sur une grille de 8x8. Chaque joueur commence avec deux pions placés en diagonale au centre. Le but est de contrôler la majorité des pions de sa couleur à la fin de la partie. Pour capturer un pion, il faut le placer de manière à ce qu'une ligne de pions adverses soit prise en sandwich entre ce pion et un autre de ses propres pions, horizontalement, verticalement ou en diagonale. Ces pions sont alors retournés et deviennent de la couleur de l'adversaire. Les joueurs jouent à tour de rôle jusqu'à ce que la grille soit pleine ou qu'aucun autre mouvement ne soit possible. Stratégie, anticipation et sens de l'observation sont les clés du succès.
