Allemand „James Pond“ ist (natürlich) eine Parodie auf die berühmten Agent 007-Geschichten. Sie steuern Pond, eine fischähnliche Kreatur, die mehrere Missionen erfüllen muss, während sie sich ihren Weg durch Level voller Gefahren und feindlicher Kreaturen bahnt. Es handelt sich nicht um ein typisches „Jump and Run“-Spiel: Anstatt durch große Levels zu flitzen, muss Pond in jedem Spielbereich einzigartige Missionen erfüllen: Geiseln befreien, ein Gebäude sprengen, Schlüssel finden usw. Es ist möglich, ein Level erst dann zu verlassen, wenn man das Ziel erreicht hat. Viele Missionen sind zeitlich begrenzt.

Anglais "James Pond" is (obviously) a parody on the famous agent 007 stories. You control Pond, a fish-like creature, who has to complete several missions, while making his way through levels full of dangers and hostile creatures. It is not a typical "jump and run" game: instead of breezing through large levels, Pond has to complete unique missions for each game area: free hostages, detonate a structure, find keys, etc. It is possible to exit a level only after having completed the objective. Many missions are timed.

Français "James Pond" est (évidemment) une parodie sur les célèbres histoires de l'agent 007. Vous contrôlez Pond, une créature ressemblant à un poisson, qui doit accomplir plusieurs missions, tout en traversant des niveaux pleins de dangers et de créatures hostiles. Ce n'est pas un jeu typique de "sauter et courir": au lieu de parcourir de grands niveaux, Pond doit accomplir des missions uniques pour chaque zone de jeu: otages gratuits, faire exploser une structure, trouver des clés, etc. Il est possible de sortir d'un niveau uniquement après avoir atteint l'objectif. De nombreuses missions sont chronométrées.
