In diesem Action-RPG spielen Sie die Rolle von Ginta Toramizu, der sich danach sehnt, in eine Fantasiewelt zu reisen. Diese Chance bekommt er eines Tages, als plötzlich eine Tür zu einer anderen Welt vor ihm auftaucht. Ginta betritt die Tür und wird in eine geheimnisvolle neue Welt entführt. Gintas Abenteuer beginnen, als er einen besonderen "ARM"-Gegenstand in die Hände bekommt, der in dieser Welt gefunden wird. Diese Gegenstände können sowohl als Waffen als auch zum Wirken von Magie verwendet werden. Der Titel Mar Heaven sollte eigentlich M.A.R. Heaven lauten, da er für "Märchen Awakes Romance" (Märchen weckt Romantik) steht.
