Anglais Shrek the Third for Nintendo DS is the only Shrek 3 game that does not follow the movie plot. It makes heavy use of the microphone and touchpad to make a unique gaming experience. You can play as Puss in Boots, Prince Artie, and, of course, Shrek. Player controls are almost entirely touch screen based. Each character has his own special ability, so you need to figure out little puzzles and switch characters in order to continue.

The game features local multiplayer, allowing up to 3 players to play and each control a different character. Multiplayer gameplay is the same as single-player. The game features 3D graphics and lots of VO.
Espagnol Shrek the Third para Nintendo DS es el único juego basado en la película del mismo nombre que no sigue su trama. Este juego de acción en 3D hace un uso intensivo del micrófono y el panel táctil. Puedes jugar como Puss in Boots, Prince Artie y, por supuesto, Shrek. Los controles del reproductor se basan casi por completo en la pantalla táctil. Cada personaje tiene su propia habilidad especial, por lo que debes resolver acertijos y cambiar de personaje para poder continuar. El juego cuenta con multijugador local, lo que permite jugar hasta 3 jugadores y cada uno controla un personaje diferente. La jugabilidad multijugador es la misma que para un jugador.

Français Shrek le Troisième est un jeu d'action sur DS. Vous incarnez non seulement le plus célèbre des ogres, mais aussi le Chat Potté, l'Ane, Fiona, La Belle au Bois Dormant et bien d'autres. Chaque personnage dispose de ses propres atouts et de deux pouvoirs spéciaux qu'il peut déclencher en ramassant suffisamment de poussière de fée.
