Allemand Die Ursprünge des Survival Horror nun auch auf Nintendo Wii. Mit dem Remake tauchen sie in die Anfänge der Saga ein, dem Startschuss des Survival-Horror-Genres: Resident Evil.

Das Racoon City Police Department tappt im Dunkeln nachdem der Kontakt zum Team der Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S)-Einheit abgebrochen ist. Sie wurden ausgesandt, um das Verschwinden von Bewohnern in den Arklay Mountains aufzuklären. Der Helikopter der Einheit scheint in den Wäldern abgestürzt zu sein, seitdem fehlt von ihnen jegliches Lebenszeichen. Das Department entscheidet sich dazu, ein weiteres S.T.A.R.S.-Kommando auszusenden: das Alpha-Team. Sie sollen den Geschehnissen auf den Grund gehen… jedoch läuft etwas gehörig falsch.
