Allemand Ultraman 2: Shutsugeki Katoku Tai!! (in etwa: Ultraman 2: Einsatztruppe) ist ein Actionspiel. Wie der Titel schon sagt, dreht es sich um die in Japan beliebte Ultraman-Serie. Anstatt Ultraman jedoch in den Mittelpunkt dieses Spiels zu stellen, ist es das Verteidigungsunterstützungsteam, das immer dann in Aktion tritt, wenn Japan von einem riesigen Monster angegriffen wird, das den Großteil der Spielzeit erhält. Das Spiel findet im modernen Japan statt und zeigt einen Großteil der japanischen Metropole aus der Vogelperspektive. Die Spieler müssen ein Team losschicken, um nach einem Würfel zu suchen und ihn zu beschaffen, der es dem Verteidigungsteam ermöglicht, Monstern Schaden zuzufügen, wenn sie auftauchen. Sobald der Würfel gefunden ist, tauchen Monster auf und greifen die Gebäude Japans an. Das Team muss Fahrzeuge einsetzen, um bei der Vernichtung dieser Monster zu helfen, bis sie alle besiegt sind. Wenn ein Monster ein kritisches Gebäude zerstört, ist das Spiel sofort beendet.

Anglais Ultraman 2: Shutsugeki Katoku Tai!! (Loosely translated as Ultraman 2: Sortie Department Group) is an action game developed by Bandai for the Famicom Disk System and published at the end of 1987. As the title implies, it revolves around the Ultraman series that was popular in Japan. However, rather than making Ultraman the focus of this game, it is the defense support team that goes into action whenever Japan is attacked by a giant monster which gets the majority of the game time.

The game takes place in modern Japan, with a bird's eye view presentation of much of Japan's metropolis. Players must send a team out to search for, and obtain, a cube which permits the defense team to damage monsters when they appear. Once the cube is found, monsters begin to appear and attack the buildings of Japan. The team must deploy vehicles to help aid in the destruction of these monsters until they have all been defeated. If a monster destroys a critical building, the game is instantly over.

Français Comme le titre l'indique, ce jeu fait partie de la série Ultraman qui a été populaire au Japon. Toutefois, plutôt que de faire d'Ultraman le personnage principal, c'est l'équipe de soutien de la défense qui entre en action chaque fois que le Japon est attaqué par un monstre géant qui tiens le role principal. Le jeu se déroule dans le Japon moderne. Les joueurs doivent envoyer une équipe pour rechercher et obtenir un cube qui permet à l'équipe de défense d'attaquer les monstres lorsqu'ils apparaissent. Une fois le cube trouvé, les monstres commencent à apparaître et attaquent les bâtiments. L'équipe doit déployer des véhicules pour aider à la destruction de ces monstres jusqu'à ce qu'ils aient tous été vaincu. Si un monstre détruit un bâtiment essentiel, le jeu est instantanément terminé.
