Allemand Solomon's Key ist ein Plattformspiel mit Action- und Strategieelementen. In jedem Level ist es Ihr Ziel, einen Schlüssel zu finden, mit dem Sie den Ausgang aufschließen können. Dazu steht Ihnen ein Zauberstab zur Verfügung, mit dem Sie Blöcke erzeugen und zerstören können (manche Blöcke können allerdings nicht zerstört werden). Um den Schlüssel zu erreichen, müssen Sie die Blöcke auf dem Bildschirm sorgfältig anordnen, damit Sie sicher herumspringen können. In jedem Level wimmelt es von verschiedenen Feinden, die Ihnen ein Leben kosten, wenn Sie erwischt werden. Einige Kreaturen können durch Zerstörung des Blocks, auf dem sie stehen, getötet werden, anderen muss ausgewichen werden. Versteckte Boni und Magie können in vielen der Levels gefunden werden, manchmal sogar in Blöcken versteckt. Einige Schätze geben Ihnen Bonuspunkte, andere können Zaubersprüche bilden, die Ihnen helfen, mit den Feinden fertig zu werden. Um das Spiel zu erschweren, hat jeder Level ein Zeitlimit, in dem er abgeschlossen werden muss.

Anglais Solomon's Key is a platform game with both action and strategy elements. On each level your goal is to retrieve a key which can then be used to unlock the exit. To help out, you have a magic wand which can be used to create and destroy blocks (though some blocks can't be destroyed). In order to reach the key you will need carefully to arrange the blocks on the screen so you can jump your way around safely. Wandering around each level are a variety of enemies which will cause you to lose a life if you're caught. Some creatures can be killed by destroying the block they are standing on, others must be dodged. Hidden bonuses and magic can be found on many of the levels, sometimes even hidden in blocks. Some treasures give you bonus points, others can form magic spells to help deal with the enemies. To make the game more difficult, each level has a time limit in which it must be completed.
Espagnol Para salvar al mundo de los demonios, Dana se embarca en la búsqueda de la Llave de Salomón capaz de sellar el paso creado por los monstruos. Audaz mezcla entre un juego de acción y un rompecabezas gigante, Salomon's Key no solo es uno de los retos más difíciles en Master System, sino también uno de los más adictivos. Français Pour sauver le monde des démons, Dana se lance dans une quête à la recherche de la clé de Salomon capable de sceller le passage emprunté par les monstres. Mélange audacieux entre un jeu d'action et un puzzle géant, Solomon's Key est un des défis les plus difficiles à relever sur Master System, mais également un des plus prenants. Le joueur doit utiliser sa logique et ses réflexes pour découvrir tous les mystères de chaque pièce.
Italien Solomon's Key è un gioco di piattaforma con elementi sia d'azione che di strategia. Ad ogni livello il tuo obiettivo è recuperare una chiave che può poi essere utilizzata per sbloccare l'uscita. Per aiutare, hai una bacchetta magica che può essere usata per creare e distruggere i blocchi (anche se alcuni blocchi non possono essere distrutti). Per raggiungere la chiave dovrai disporre con attenzione i blocchi sullo schermo in modo da poter saltare in sicurezza. Vagando per ogni livello ci sono una varietà di nemici che ti faranno perdere una vita se vieni catturato. Alcune creature possono essere uccise distruggendo il blocco su cui si trovano, altre devono essere schivate. Bonus nascosti e magia possono essere trovati in molti livelli, a volte anche nascosti in blocchi. Alcuni tesori ti danno punti bonus, altri possono formare incantesimi per aiutarti ad affrontare i nemici. Per rendere il gioco più difficile, ogni livello ha un limite di tempo in cui deve essere completato.

Solomon no Kagi: Oujo Rihita no Namida (Solomon's Key) é um quebra-cabeça com alto grau de dificuldade. Em cada fase, o jogador deve encontrar a chave e sair pela porta. Claro, há vários inimigos espalhados pela tela, mas o herói tem o poder de criar/destruir blocos e usá-los como ponte ou escada. São mais de 60 fases (algumas secretas), e os gráficos simples escondem um jogo de alta qualidade com mecânica irresistível. Lançado apenas no Japão.
