Allemand Bakutoushi Patton-Kun ist ein Overhead-Panzerkampfspiel, das im Stil dem Combat-Spiel von Atari ähnelt. Es war der erste FDS-Titel, bei dem vier Spieler gleichzeitig spielen konnten. Im Spiel versuchen die Spieler, die Panzer der anderen zu zerstören. Wenn ein Panzer zerstört wird, verlässt der Fahrer des Panzers das Fahrzeug und muss versuchen, lange genug am Leben zu bleiben, damit ein Ersatzpanzer mit dem Fallschirm vom Himmel herabspringen kann. Das Spiel wird fortgesetzt, bis nur noch ein Panzer der einzige Überlebende ist. Dann gelangen die Spieler zu einer neuen Stufe mit anderem Gelände. Insgesamt gibt es 56 Etappen. Panzerstatistiken können auch im Editormodus geändert werden. Obwohl im Titel auf den Namen des amerikanischen Generals George S. Patton Bezug genommen wird, wird er im gesamten Spiel an keiner anderen Stelle erwähnt. Obwohl das Spiel nur in Japan veröffentlicht wurde, enthalten die Anweisungen auf dem Ladebildschirm englische Obszönitäten.

Anglais Bakutoushi Patton-Kun is an overhead tank combat game similar in style to Atari's Combat game. It was the first FDS title to allow for four players to play simultaneously. In the game, players attempt to destroy each others tanks. If a tank is destroyed, the driver of the tank will exit the vehicle, and must try to stay alive long enough for a replacement tank to parachute down from the sky. Game play continues until only one tank is the sole survivor. Then players advance to a new stage with different terrain. There are 56 stages in total. Tank stats can also be changed in an Editor mode. Despite referencing the name of American General George S. Patton in the title, there is no mention of him anywhere else throughout the game. Although the game was only release in Japan, the loading screen instructions contain English profanity.

Bakutoushi Patton-Kun (más o menos "Explosive Fighter Patton") es un juego de acción multijugador donde el objetivo es volar los tanques de los otros jugadores en una serie de escenarios, similar al Combate de Atari. Además de destruir el tanque de cada oponente, el jugador también debe vencer al conductor del tanque mientras corren indefensos. Después de derrotar a todos los otros tanques y sus conductores, el jugador pasa a la siguiente etapa.
