Allemand Die Geschichte des Spiels ist sehr typisch für einen Castlevania Titel. Espagnol Es el año 1792, y Drácula es revivido por el sacerdote oscuro Shaft. Después de reconstruir sus fuerzas oscuras, se dispone a destruir la aldea donde vive Richter Belmont, descendiente del clan Belmont y heredero del látigo Vampire Killer. Por otra parte, Drácula secuestra a la novia de Richter, Annette, a una cazadora de vampiros de doce años de edad, de nombre Maria Renard, y otros dos aldeanos locales: una monja conocida como Tera, e Iris, la hija del médico del pueblo. Blandiendo el látigo de sus antepasados, Richter se aleja hacia Castlevania, enfrentando a muchos monstruos en el camino, en especial, a Death.

Después de avanzar por el castillo, Richter consigue rescatar a Annette, María, y las dos aldeanas locales: Iris y Tera. María, aunque muy joven, es capaz de ayudarle con sus animales familiares, para poder eliminar a Drácula. Richter y María resultan victoriosos en la batalla contra Shaft, Death (La Muerte) y Drácula.

Français Castlevania : Rondo of Blood sur TurboGraphx CD est un jeu d'aventure/action dans lequel vous incarnez Richter Belmont qui part au secours de sa fiancée enlevée par Dracula. Au fil des niveaux, vous rencontrez de viles créatures et vous devez vous servir de votre précieux fouet pour les vaincre. Mais attention, à la fin de chaque niveau un boss vous attend. Un bon timing et de bons réflexes ne seront pas de trop pour en venir à bout.

Dopo aver ricostruito le sue forze oscure, si propone di distruggere il villaggio dove vive Richter Belmont, un discendente del clan Belmont ed erede della frusta Vampire Killer. Altrove, Dracula rapisce la fidanzata di Richter, Annette, una cacciatrice di vampiri dodicenne di nome Maria Renard, e altri due abitanti del villaggio: una suora conosciuta come Tera, e Iris, la figlia del dottore della città. Brandendo la frusta dei suoi antenati, Richter si allontana verso Castlevania, affrontando molti mostri lungo la strada, in particolare la Morte.
