Allemand Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story ist das dritte Spiel der Mario & Luigi-Spielreihe. Die Spieler steuern Mario und Luigi gleichzeitig in der sidescrollenden Plattform-Umgebung von Bowsers Körper, während sie gleichzeitig den Koopa-König selbst in der Top-Down-Welt des Pilzkönigreichs steuern. Ähnlich wie in Spielen wie Earthbound werden die Gegner als aktuelle Feinde dargestellt, denen der Spieler ausweichen oder die er früh angreifen kann. Die eigentlichen Kämpfe sind eine Kombination aus rundenbasierten Menüangriffen und zeitgesteuerten Reaktionen auf Feinde während des Kampfes. Indem man beobachtet, wie ein Feind reagiert, kann man seinen Angriff vorhersehen und ihm ausweichen oder kontern.

Wie bei den meisten RPGs sammeln die Spieler Erfahrung, um ihre Werte zu verbessern und in bestimmten Attributen stärker zu werden, z. B. HP, Stärke, Verteidigung, Geschwindigkeit und...'Stacheln oder Hörner (beides bedeutet Glück für die verschiedenen Charaktere). Bei jedem Stufenaufstieg kann der Spieler einen bestimmten Wert auswählen, auf den er Bonuspunkte anwenden kann - wenn man jedoch immer wieder Bonuspunkte auf denselben Wert anwendet, wird die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass man hohe Bonuspunkte erhält, geringer, je öfter man sie anwendet.

Anglais Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is the third game in the Mario & Luigi series of games. Players control Mario and Luigi simultaneously in the side-scrolling platform environment of Bowser's body, while also controlling the Koopa King himself in the top-down world of the Mushroom Kingdom. Similar to games like Earthbound, enemy encounters are seen as actual enemies that players can avoid or attempt to strike early. The actual battles are a combination of turn-based menu attacks, and timed reactions to enemies during battle. By watching the way an enemy reacts, you can anticipate their attack and avoid it or counterattack.

Espagnol Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story es el tercer juego de la serie Mario & Luigi. Los jugadores controlan a Mario y Luigi simultáneamente en el entorno de plataformas de desplazamiento lateral del cuerpo de Bowser, mientras que también controlan al propio Rey Koopa en el mundo de arriba abajo del Reino Champiñón. Al igual que en juegos como Earthbound, los encuentros con los enemigos se ven como enemigos reales que los jugadores pueden evitar o intentar golpear antes. Las batallas reales son una combinación de ataques por turnos en el menú, y reacciones cronometradas a los enemigos durante la batalla. Sur les traces de la princesse enlevée, les frères Mario vont se retrouver dans le corps de Bowser, leur ennemi juré. Tous trois vont devoir coopérer pour rétablir l'ordre au royaume Champignon.
