Allemand Dieser Teil der langjährigen Castlevania-Reihe spielt im frühen 19. Jahrhundert und weicht ein wenig von der typischen Handlung der Serie ab. Eine geheime klösterliche Organisation, der Orden der Ecclesia, hat den Auftrag, alternative Wege zu finden, um die Horden von Untoten zu bekämpfen, die vom immer wiederkehrenden bösen Lord Dracula herbeigerufen wurden, da der Belmont-Clan sich offenbar versteckt hat. Shanoa, eine junge Akolythin des Ordens, wird aufgrund ihrer außergewöhnlichen magischen Fähigkeiten auserwählt, den Dominus zu wirken: den ultimativen Zauberspruch gegen das Böse. Als sie kurz davor ist, das Ritual zur Absorption des Dominus zu vollenden, stiehlt ein abtrünniger Akolyth namens Albus die drei Bände mit dem Zauberspruch. Shanoa wird daraufhin beauftragt, Albus aufzuspüren und ihn und den Zauberspruch an den Orden zurückzugeben.

Anglais Set in the early 19th century, this installment of the long running Castlevania series takes a slight departure from the typical series storyline. A secret monastic organization, Order of Ecclesia, is charged with finding alternative ways of combating the hordes of undead summoned by the ever-returning evil lord Dracula, as the Belmont clan has apparently gone into hiding. Shanoa, a young acolyte of the Order, is chosen for her extraordinary magical abilities to wield Dominus: the ultimate spell against evil. As she is about to complete the ritual to absorb Dominus a rogue acolyte named Albus steals the three tomes containing the spell. Shanoa is then dispatched to track down Albus and return him and the spell back to the Order.

Una organización monástica secreta, la Orden de la Eclesia, se encarga de encontrar formas alternativas de combatir las hordas de muertos vivientes convocadas por el malvado señor Drácula, que siempre regresa, ya que el clan Belmont se ha escondido. Shanoa, una joven acólita de la Orden, es elegida por sus extraordinarias habilidades mágicas para manejar el Dominus: el hechizo definitivo contra el mal. Cuando está a punto de completar el ritual para absorber Dominus, un acólito renegado llamado Albus roba los tres tomos que contienen el hechizo. Shanoa es enviada a buscar a Albus y devolverle a él y al hechizo a la Orden.

Uma organização monástica secreta, a Ordem da Ecclesia, é encarregada de encontrar maneiras alternativas de combater as hordas de mortos-vivos convocados pelo sempre retornado senhor maligno Drácula, já que o clã Belmont aparentemente se escondeu. Shanoa, uma jovem acólita da Ordem, é escolhida por suas extraordinárias habilidades mágicas para empunhar Dominus: o feitiço final contra o mal. Quando ela está prestes a completar o ritual para absorver Dominus, um acólito desonesto chamado Alvo rouba os três tomos contendo o feitiço. Shanoa é então enviada para rastrear Alvo e devolvê-lo e o feitiço de volta à Ordem.
