RE TDC lässt die Grenzen zwischen Gut und Böse verschwimmen ? ein Kampf gegen die eigenen inneren Dämonen entbrennt. RE TDC bricht mit alten Traditionen des Railgun-Shooters und fügt dem Genre neue Elemente hinzu. Dazu zählen ein frei anwählbares Item-Menü, ein variabler Schwierigkeitsgrad sowie ein erweiterter Zweispieler-Koop-Modus. Dieser ermöglicht es Spielern, zu zweit als Team an einem Bildschirm zu agieren. Die dazugehörige Handkamera-Optik fängt das Geschehen atmosphärisch ein und begleitet die Spielhelden in ihren Gefechten und Interaktionen.

Anglais The Darkside Chronicles is an on-rails shooting game. In the Resident Evil series it is the second title exclusive to the Wii platform. The game s plot revolves around the personal stories and tragedies in the series, with its main focus on retelling the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code: Veronica.

A new chapter called Operation Javier fleshes out the plot further and explains the motives of Resident Evil 4 villain Jack Krauser. It takes place in 2002 and is set in the waterside village of Mixcoatl, located in the South American Amparo. It tells the story of Leon S. Kennedy teaming up with Jack Krauser to investigate the connections of crime lord Javier Hidalgo to a former Umbrella researcher.

Just like The Umbrella Chronicles players do not control the character s movement, but only the shooting aspect, shown from a first-person perspective. The player s partner is also shown on the screen and there is an cooperative option for two players.

L'histoire se déroule en 2002. Les agents du Gouvernement américain, Leon S. Kennedy et Jack Krauser ont été envoyés en Amérique du Sud pour enquêter sur des disparitions mystérieuses de jeunes filles mais également sur des rumeurs d'une nouvelle épidémie virale.

Les événements à venir rappelleront un sombre voyage où les trahisons et les horreurs de Resident Evil 2 et Code Veronica viennent boucler la boucle. Les souvenirs du passé peuvent-ils aider à arrêter la terreur biologique qui refait surface pour menacer l'avenir de l'humanité ?

La trama del gioco ruota attorno alle storie personali e alle tragedie della serie, con l'obiettivo principale di raccontare gli eventi di Resident Evil 2 e Resident Evil: Code: Veronica.
Un nuovo capitolo chiamato Operazione Javier completa ulteriormente la trama e spiega le motivazioni del cattivo di Resident Evil 4 Jack Krauser. Si svolge nel 2002 e si trova nel villaggio costiero di Mixcoatl, nell'Amparo sudamericano. Racconta la storia di Leon S. Kennedy che collabora con Jack Krauser per indagare sui collegamenti del signore del crimine Javier Hidalgo con un ex ricercatore dell'Umbrella.
Proprio come in The Umbrella Chronicles, i giocatori non controllano il movimento del personaggio, ma solo l'aspetto del tiro, mostrato da una prospettiva in prima persona. Anche il partner del giocatore viene mostrato sullo schermo e c'è un'opzione cooperativa per due giocatori.
