Du steuerst Dino-Riki aus der Vogelperspektive, während der Bildschirm nach oben scrollt. Dino-Riki muss die Feinde in seinem Weg abschießen, über Gruben springen und Hindernissen ausweichen. Seine Chancen verbessern sich, wenn er neue Waffen wie Feuerbälle oder Bumerangs erhält. Engelsflügel helfen auch und lassen Dino-Riki über den Boden fliegen. Am Ende jedes Levels muss Dino-Riki gegen einen Boss antreten.

Anglais Somewhere in the land of dinosaurs, a hero known as Dino-Riki sets out to battle against the beasts of the ancient times and prove man's right to survival amongst evolution. You control Dino-Riki from a top-down perspective as the screen scrolls towards the top. Dino Riki must shoot the enemies in his way as well as leap over pits and avoid obstacles. His chances improve when he obtains weapon power-ups such as fireballs or boomerangs. Angel Wings also help and let Dino Riki fly above the ground. At the end of each level, Dino-Riki faces off against a boss creature.
Espagnol Inspirado en el éxito de 1942, Hudson Soft lanzó un juego de corte muy similar pero cambiando al protagonista por un cavernícola capaz de utilizar diferentes tipos de armas como rocas y armas contra los dinosaurios enemigos.
