Allemand Es sind einige Jahre vergangen als die Manakräfte, mithilfe des Manaschwertes in acht sogenannte Manasamen gebannt wurden. Diese wurden auf die acht Königreiche verteilt. Es gibt einige Leute, die über die Macht Bescheid wissen und diese nicht zum wohle für die Menscheit nutzen wollen sondern für Ihre ganz persönlichen Ziele... Wie das Königreich Altena, welches langsam einfriert und diese legendäre Macht braucht um sich zu retten.

Das Spiel bietet mehrere Storyplots welche jeweils den Hintergrund eines Helden oder einer Heldin beleuchten. Am Anfang kann man aus sechs verschiedenen Klassen wählen. Duran der Krieger, Angela die junge Zauberin, Lisa die Amazone, Carlie die Klerikerin, Kevin der Wrestler und Hawk der Dieb. Die Geschichten starten jeweils an verschiedenen Orten und im Spielverlauf treffen die Charaktere an einigen Punkten aufeinander und am Ende wird aus den losen Storyfäden eine Geschichte.

Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3 im jap. original) wurde leider nie in den USA oder Europa veröffentlicht, sonder nur in Japan und ist genau genommen schon der dritte Teil der Mana-Serie. Deshalb findet man Spiel auch nur auf japanisch oder Mithilfe von Fanpatches auch in anderen Sprachen. Wie aber bei Secret of Mana finden die Kämpfe in Echtzeit statt und man kann in diesem RPG auch die Klassen zweimal wechseln.....

Anglais Trials of Mana is set in the same world as the two previous Mana games (Final Fantasy Adventure, and Secret of Mana). The mysterious power of Mana is also the center of all events in Trials of Mana. Years have passed, and all the destructive powers of Mana have been securely sealed by Mana Swords into eight seeds, all placed in eight different kingdoms. But some people know about those sealed powers, and they don't want to free them for the sake of humanity, but for their own gain - such as the kingdom of Altena, which is slowly freezing and which can be saved only by the legendary powers.

The game features several plot lines connected to each other by their common background. In the beginning of the game, you are offered to choose a group of three among six different characters of different classes: Duran the Fighter, Angela the Magic User, Lisa the Amazon, Charlotte the Cleric, Kevin the Grappler and Hawkeye the Thief. Each one of them has her/his own background story and dwells in a different land. Gradually, the connections between those different characters become apparent, and the seemingly loose story lines are connected into a whole.

Trials of Mana, like the previous game in the series, is an action RPG with real time combat.

El misterioso poder de Mana es también el centro de todos los acontecimientos de Seiken Densetsu 3.Han pasado años y todos los poderes destructivos del Mana han sido firmemente sellados por la Espada del Mana en ocho semillas, todas colocadas en ocho reinos diferentes. Français Seiken Densetsu 3 est la suite sur Super Nintendo du jeu de rôle connu en France sous le nom Secret of Mana. La particularité du jeu réside dans le choix de trois personnages que l'on doit faire au début, parmi Angela, Duran, Hawkeye, Lise, Kevin et Charlotte. En fonction du héros choisi, le scénario sera différent. Après avoir accompli les quêtes des personnages, le scénario principal vous fera partir à la recherche de l'épée Mana, et sauver l'arbre Mana menacé par des esprits mystérieux.
Italien Seiken Densetsu 3 è il sequel per Super Nintendo del gioco di ruolo conosciuto in Francia come Secret of Mana. La particolarità del gioco sta nella scelta di tre personaggi che devono essere fatti all'inizio, tra Angela, Duran, Occhio di Falco, Lise, Kevin e Charlotte. A seconda dell'eroe scelto, lo scenario sarà diverso. Dopo aver completato le missioni dei personaggi, la trama principale ti farà andare alla ricerca della spada Mana e salvare l'albero di Mana minacciato da spiriti misteriosi.

Anos se passaram, e todos os poderes destrutivos de Mana foram selados com segurança pelas Espadas de Mana em oito sementes, todas colocadas em oito reinos diferentes. Mas algumas pessoas sabem sobre esses poderes selados, e eles não querem libertá-los para a humanidade, mas sim para o seu próprio ganho - assim como o reino de Altena, que está congelando lentamente e que só pode ser salvo pelos poderes lendários.
