Allemand Reid Hershel, Farrah Oersted und ein geheimnisvolles Mädchen namens Meredy müssen sich auf eine Reise begeben, um die Wahrheit über das Schicksal ihrer Welt zu erfahren. Die Geschichte beginnt, als Reid und Farrah sich um den Absturz eines Raumschiffs in der Nähe ihrer Heimatstadt Rashea kümmern. Als sie den Ort des Geschehens untersuchen, führt sie ein seltsames blaues Tier zu einem jungen Mädchen, das bei dem Absturz verletzt wurde und eine unbekannte Sprache spricht. Im weiteren Verlauf erfahren Reid und Farrah, dass das geheimnisvolle Mädchen namens Meredy hierher gekommen ist, um eine tödliche Kollision zwischen ihrem Planeten Celestia und Reid und Farrahs Welt Inferia zu verhindern.

Anglais Reid Hershel, Farrah Oersted, and a mysterious girl named Meredy must embark on a journey to learn the truth on the fate of their world. The story begins when Reid and Farrah attend to the crash of a spaceship near their hometown, Rashea. As they investigate the place of the incident, a weird blue animal leads them to a young girl injured by the crash who speaks an unknown language. Further on, Reid and Farrah learn that the mysterious girl, named Meredy, came here to prevent a deadly collision between her planet, Celestia, and Reid and Farrah's world, Inferia. With the help of some friends picked up along the way, Reid, Farrah, and Meredy set out on a quest to collect a set of spiritual beings, their only hope to save both of their planets from a terrible disaster. Control 1 character out of a party of 4 through magnificent 2D environments and 3D world maps. Master the "Tales of" Linear Motion Battle System; built around different striking techniques, real-time combos and spells. Discover a bunch of challenging mini games perfectly implemented to the story that will make the characters earn unique features.

Espagnol La historia comienza en Rasheans, con el encuentro de Reid y Farah en la torre de vigilancia. Mientras hablan un extraño objeto cae destruyendo la torre y lanzando a los chicos al suelo. Una vez recuperados se dirigen hacia el objeto recién caído, que resulta ser una nave espacial de la que sale una chica de pelo morado y piel oscura que habla un idioma inentendible: Meredy.

A partir de ese momento, el objetivo se centra en lograr comunicarse con Meredy. Con esa intención se dirigen a Mintche, en cuya universidad estudia Keele, un amigo de la infancia de Rasheans que quizá pueda ayudarles. Pese a los amplios conocimientos de Keele no logran entender a Meredy, por lo que deciden dirigirse a Morle, el pueblo donde vive un antiguo profesor de la universidad, que quizá pueda ayudarles. Tras varios intentos consiguen comunicarse con la extraña chica que resulta ser de Celestia, y se encuentra en Inferia, el mundo de nuestros protagonistas, para evitar la destrucción del mundo.
