Synopsis
 English 		European Games follows the classic „Games“ formula, primarily relying on joystick-waggling with some precision elements. Across five or six disciplines, depending on the platform, speed-based events require rapid left-to-right joystick movements or pressing the fire button at the right moment. Hammer throwing involves releasing the throw when the power bar is at its peak, with additional rotation control on the Commodore. Swimming demands both joystick movement and air management – surfacing slows you down. The long jump is another joystick-heavy event, requiring precise timing for takeoff and an optional jump angle selection. Rowing functions similarly to swimming but without an air supply. Weight lifting involves maintaining a high power bar level and lifting the weight before time runs out.

Synopsis
 German 		European Games folgt dem klassischen „Games“-Schema und ist vor allem ein Joystick-Wackelspiel mit einigen Präzisionselementen. In fünf oder sechs Disziplinen, je nach Plattform, kommt es meist darauf an, den Joystick schnell von links nach rechts zu bewegen oder im richtigen Moment die Feuertaste zu drücken. Beim Hammerwerfen muss der Athlet den Wurf im richtigen Moment auslösen, während auf dem Commodore zusätzliche Rotationskontrolle möglich ist. Das Schwimmen erfordert nicht nur schnelles Joystick-Wackeln, sondern auch das Überwachen der Luftzufuhr – zu häufiges Auftauchen kostet wertvolle Zeit. Der Weitsprung verlangt nach exaktem Timing beim Absprung, wobei optional der Sprungwinkel gewählt werden kann. Rudern ähnelt dem Schwimmen, allerdings ohne Luftmanagement. Beim Gewichtheben muss die Kraftanzeige konstant hoch gehalten werden, um das Gewicht vor Ablauf der Zeit zu stemmen.
