Synopsis
 French 		Equinox est la suite du jeu classique de la NES, Solstice. Il se présente sous la forme d'une vue isométrique en 3D avec des graphismes très colorés. Le jeu consiste à résoudre des énigmes pour accéder au donjon suivant. Vous incarnez le fils du héros du premier opus, Shadax. Shadax a été enlevé par une sorcière maléfique et c'est à vous de le sauver. Vous disposez d'un large éventail d'armes et de sorts puissants que vous pouvez utiliser tout au long de votre quête, dont certains sont indispensables pour résoudre les énigmes. Dans Equinox, vous pouvez vous déplacer aussi bien sur la carte en surface que dans le monde souterrain, bien que toute l'action, à l'exception de certains combats, se déroule toujours sous terre. Si vous avez déjà joué à l'un des jeux Zelda, une grande partie du jeu vous sera familière : vous devez rechercher des clés, combattre ou éviter des monstres, résoudre des énigmes physiques pour atteindre le gardien de fin de niveau que vous devez vaincre pour progresser.
